Thank you!!

This year was truly magic! there were so many incredible shoots I was able to be apart of and I was blown away by the amazing humans I was able to meet while doing it! I wanted to take some time to share some of those shoots and what made them so magical and the different hiccups and funny stories along the way. Enjoy!!

Countless amazing people met!

January

Time for a reset!

Every photographer knows that January is usually a slow month, getting ready for the year ahead. Most of my January was filled with meeting clients, UVU athletic events and down time to catch up on editing and set up my system for the new year. January usually lasts forever, and this one did, but it was a good time to reset before the weather warms up and everyone is outside shooting.

February

Prep work!! February is where we started to get engagements shoots, more weddings scheduled and we did a branding shoot to get some more photos of myself onto my website! A big highlight was escaping down to Southern Utah for a warmer engagement session in stunning Snow Canyon. This month got me excited for the busy year of weddings we had scheduled!

March

March gave me the shivers! There were so many amazing sessions that embraced the cold snow this month and I don't know how my clients did it!!  Luckily we balanced it out with a snuggled shoot for Sew Sweet Minky. March is one of my favorite months of the year as you start to see things go from winter to a hint of spring and the shoots start to pile up. March fills my heart every year without a doubt.

April

Grass and Blossoms and Brides oh my!! April is another fav. I am not a fan of the cold and April is the first to warm me up after the long winter. We are met by beautiful bud on the trees and color starts to pop out! I loved my cute seniors this month, happy couples, and early family sessions!

May

Holy Cow! May was fun!! This year I had the opportunity to go on a study a broad with a focus on studying the history of photography and how it was started. I wrapped up some shooting in early May then headed to England and France. It was an incredible opportunity to roam through the countrysides and in the busy cities where the early scientists and photographers were inspired to create this amazing process. All of the photos captured on this trip were also being put toward a fine art book that is nationally recognized.

Huge thank you to the professors and other students that made this study abroad to memorable and amazing!

June

My busiest month!! We totaled 6 weddings, 2 being out of state, and 5 other sessions to prep for weddings! I loved June a lot and it was so much fun to see every personality at each wedding as well as the culture that was brought in. I don't know if I will ever schedule my June to be this busy again but it was so much fun.

July

I travelled soooo much this July! Arizona, California, Southern Utah, Oregon Wyoming, Idaho and Washington! It was so much fun to live out of my suitcase for a while. This year I had so much fun at Pendleton Music Festival for my third year in a row! Cody Johnson headlined with other artists including Riley Green, Ian Munsick, and Nelly. It's always a highlight to be invited back for such an amazing festival.

August

August was a good way to slow things down a bit more. I had my last bunch of summer weddings with a taste of the new school year. I am a senior and graduating with my degree in Art and Design so it was fun to start my last year of schooling!!

September

This month wiped me out. I had so many amazing people rally around me after experiencing a traumatic event, as much as I would like to skip over what happened, I can't help but feel extreme gratitude towards my amazing clients that made this month better than the reality of everything!

October

This month was slow in all the best ways! While family photo season was at its height, I felt like I had more time to focus on editing and time with loved ones. October had the most beautiful coloring for fall and it lasted wayyy longer than I thought it would've. I adored the subtle moments of October!!

November

November kicks off the Holliday season and slow season begins! It might be my favorite trade off. This last year, November included last minute family sessions, a thanksgiving weekend wedding, and unfortunately the funeral of my grandfather. I loved the extra time being around those I loved this month and the time to edit and start to wrap up my year of all things photo.

December

This was my most relaxing month yet! With only two weddings and a whole lot of nothing, I felt my body relax and enjoy the art of editing and the ease of my last two weddings. I could not have ended my year any better with my last to couples and it closed out 2025 perfectly!

2026

I am so so pumped for this upcoming year! I am already so excited for the couples I have scheduled for this upcoming wedding season. I have travel booked and already planning for a trip to California, Arizona, Oregon, and Southern Utah.!!

See you all so soon!!
